Jamie, Richard and the rest of the team are very friendly, knowledgeable and deliver a quality build. They removed our old conservatory and built a single storey rear extension complete with knocking through to the kitchen and also a front hallway extension. They are very tidy even doing such major works and always left the house clean at the end of the day. They were happy to accommodate our needs and managed to fix up our old kitchen units as a temporary measure so we could eat over the Christmas break. Richard and Jamie kept us informed throughout the build and were always on hand to answer any questions we had.

In today,s world of fly by night , cowboy builders , "wanna be" tradesmen , call them what you want  , we,ve all met them ! , hand on heart i can honestly say i "dropped on"  when i hooked up with  Shepworth  construction for my  extension project .
I had never met Jamie or the lads before , i had seen them work locally on an extension and  i drove past most days ,  and not only being impressed with  the transformation  of the building but i  also witnessed   - time on site ,  average time knocking off , tidiness etc , i invited them to quote me for my job .
I was well impressed with their can do attitude  , they listened ! !!! they asked , we bounced off each other with ideas , suggestions  and solutions . but most importantly ,   they COMMUNICATED !
They got the job !
Jamie was in regular  touch before the the start date  making sure things could get going  from day one .
they started on time , on site every day , tidy , all the team  were  respectful to the neighbors  and kept  the noise and mess down to a minimum , always cleaned up at the end of the day and i was kept in touch  ,2 or 3 times a week Jamie would catch up and  inform me what would be happening next day or next week - nice touch !
The  job was  competed on time  and within budget ,  very happy ,
We got what we wanted !

I cannot recommend Shepworth Construction Limited highly enough. From working through ideas to completion they’ve proved to be incredibly knowledgable, organised, hard working and best of all, tidy!! 

My perception of builders was probably slightly tainted before this project started. The site near my house smells like a weed factory and people at work often advised me to “move don’t extend” because of the mess. 

But these guys have been incredibly professional and nice to have around.

We ran/dug into problems early on but Jamie was reassuring throughout and solved the problem quickly. It’d be my luck we find a couple of cellar entrances in our garden!

Neighbour politics - luckily my neighbours are complete legends but the lads kept them informed, thanked them for any disruption and kept them very happy!

And now we’re at completion - they’ve done an amazing job and added bits along the way to help further transform our home.

Now I’m going to have to find someone else to take all of Emma’s parcels in and to call/text me on my walk home from work.

There may be a wait time for work to start and they may cost a few quid more than Bob, but I’d highly recommend Shepworth Construction!

We had a Garage converted into dinning room and utility. Upstairs extension which gave us an extra bedroom and ensuite. Looks amazing and nearly a year since it started we have not a single concern. Jamie and his lads were amazing and helped us with any key decisions. I never felt pushed into anything and they kept us informed every step of the way. The team were so clean and respectable to my house and more importantly my neighbours. I can only highly recommend everyone within the team and I’m already saving up for the next job. Elinor & I were delighted with the two-storey extension added to our property by Shepworth Construction. 

In particular, we found our main contact, Jamie Shepherd, to be an asset to the company and a pleasure to work with. 

 He has an affable nature combined with strong attention to detail and an extensive experience of building work as demonstrated on many occasions as he confidently dealt with all queries and challenges that the project generated. 

He also has strong organizational skills and a network of very reliable suppliers and tradespersons who he is able to call on as needed.  

He managed the project throughout to ensure that the build was completed on schedule, to the required standard and with surprisingly little disruption to us.

In summary, both the service levels and finished product exceeded our expectations and would happily recommend them to our friends, family or anyone else requiring this type of work.

Shepworth Construction transformed my garden with a new Indian stone patio, path and raised sleepers, Levelled my existing garden and re-turfed it all.

Hi Jamie,

Now the dust has settled, both literally and figuratively, on the project season, I’d like to give you some feedback having worked with you over the past few months.

Generally speaking, I feel you have done an excellent job at pulling off the project work at Southey Green, Meynell and Hillsborough this summer. Anything that hasn’t gone quite to plan drifts into insignificance when we reflect on the works we have completed in such a short space of time and therefore there is no need to deem them particularly negative.

I find you personally very approachable and professional when necessary, your attention to detail has been noted, something I feel is required by ‘approved’ contractors working for the trust.

I appreciate that when companies want work they find a way and means to get stuck in but your keenness to price up works and start on site in a very short space of time was hugely appreciated not only by me and John but by the building supervisors, who, in turn, have had some complimentary things to say about you and your lads. Ultimately, you were keen to get stuck in but finished the job to a good standard and within the tight timeline.

Even though project works are never guaranteed, I look forward to taking our working relationship into the new academic year and shall forward any work tenders to you for any future works. As you are aware we require three prices for the vast majority of work we consider, I have no doubt that should you be conscious of your rates we will work together as a team going forward on other projects.
